- Explanation of gear setup
- Land control of the wing
- First rides underpowered
- Direction control while riding
- Riding upwind without flying
Outcome: Students can handle the wing safely, ride in both directions, and control their board position on the water.
Power & First Take-Off Attempts
Goal: Learn to ride with power and understand how to generate lift.
- Riding with a flying powered wing
- Holding waiting position & take-off position
- Using the wing to pump
- First take-off attempts
Outcome: Students understand lift mechanics and begin achieving their first foil take-offs.

- Controlling balance & direction while flying
- Upwind riding on foil
- Controlled stops
Outcome: Students experience sustained flights and gain confidence riding and stopping on foil.
Efficiency & First Maneuvers
Goal: Build riding efficiency and introduce advanced techniques.
- Foil pumping
- Low-power take-offs
- Downwind riding
- First jibe attempts
Outcome: Students improve flight efficiency and start linking maneuvers toward full independence.
